Thomas E. Sweeney will present Mental Health and the Law in Pennsylvania: Legal & Ethical Considerations on June 25, 2009, at the Hampton Inn-Altoona, 180 Charlotte Dr, Altoona, PA. For those working in the mental/behavioral health field, dealing with the day-to-day challenges of treating clients can be overwhelming in and of itself. The administrative and legal responsibilities are equally crucial, especially with the passage of Act 147. There are weighty decisions – the legal and prudent responses to a wide variety of situations – that demand a proper legal awareness in order to stay in compliance.
