The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (OIG) recently issued its annual work plan and identified those areas in which it plans to focus its enforcement, investigation, audit, and evaluation and inspection activities during fiscal year 2008.1 Importantly, quality of care issues remain a strong compliance focus.
